This Privacy Policy explains how SmartCarts LLC ("SmartCarts," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit medicalsmartcarts.com (the "Site") or contact us. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information you provide. When you fill out a contact or demo-request form, call, or email us, we collect the details you share — such as your name, email address, phone number, facility or organization, and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically. When you browse the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect technical and usage data such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, and interactions with the Site. This is gathered through cookies and similar technologies described below.
We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site, understand how it is used, and support our marketing. These include:
You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of many analytics and advertising cookies using industry tools such as the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on and your ad-preference settings on Meta. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers that help us run our business and this Site — including GoHighLevel, Google, and Meta — who are permitted to use it only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of SmartCarts, our customers, or others. If our business is involved in a merger or acquisition, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
This Site is an informational and marketing website and is not used to deliver clinical care. Telemedicine encounters conducted with a SmartCart run through the GALE platform provided by our partner 19Labs; protected health information handled during those encounters is governed by the applicable healthcare provider's agreements and privacy practices and by HIPAA, not by this Site. No patient health data collected during a telehealth session is stored on the cart. Please do not submit patient health information through the forms on this Site.
We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or de-identify it.
You may opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message, adjust cookies through your browser, and use analytics and advertising opt-out tools. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the details below and we will respond as required by applicable law.
The Site may link to third-party sites and services, including our scheduling calendar and social media pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties; we encourage you to review their policies.
The Site is intended for a business and professional audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
